An underslung genset is placed under the chassis of a truck. From this position, the generator set provides the reefer unit of a container of electricity continuously.
An underslung generator set is an ideal solution when chilled products must be transported on a trailer on a regular base. By mounting the generator set on the trailer, only the container needs to be swapped. The generator set can remain in its position on the chassis for future use. Technically, this generator set is similar to a clip-on genset, only the method of mounting is different.
