The Genmark Undermount genset is designed for fixed / skeletal trailers and is positioned in the middle of the trailer. This model has adjustable beams, providing flexibility to mount the unit in the best position underneath your chassis. The Genmark Undermount Genset has the highest ground clearance in the field with up to 40cm (16inch). A great option of the Undermount is the possibility to mount the controller externally on the side of the chassis, this way the genset can easily be operated.

Designed for Fixed Chassis

Undermount Gensets are one of the most common types of gensets in the field. An undermount unit is often placed in the centre of a chassis. Unique about the Genmark Undermount is the size: it’s one of the smallest and lightest models available. This results in a maximised ground clearance, up to 40 centimetres! This reduces the risk of damaging the unit to a minimum. Our technical engineers at Genmark have found a solution to fit a genset on almost any type of chassis.

The standard Genmark Undermount comes with an external controller. The controller is designed by Genmark and, like the unit itself, produced in The Netherlands. The controller is built within a Pelican Case. Pelican products are well known for their quality and strength, it is produced with the most durable materials and up to the highest IP standards. The controller is positioned at the side of the chassis and therefore there is no need to crawl under the chassis to turn on the unit.

Thanks to the increased oil sump, containing 13,5 litres of oil (15W40), the maintenance interval is reduced to once every 1.000 hours, or once a year. The unit is designed in a way that the full service can be done without dismounting the unit form the chassis. The 4-cylinder Yanmar engine provides 18,9 kW which is equal to 25,7 hp at 1.500 rpm or 50 Hz, making our unit Stage 5 compliant.

Designed for Flexible Chassis

The Genmark Modular Genset is designed for flexible / sliding skeletal trailers and is positioned on the left or right side of the trailer (depending on your needs). Unique about the Genmark Modular Genset is the approved function as a lateral protection device, according to UN Regulation No. 73. The design results in a strong unit with less weight and a higher ground clearance than previous models.

CLIP-ON GC5

Designed for Container Applications

The Genmark Clip-on Genset is designed for easy mounting directly on your (reefer) container. It has a standard pin mount system however it can also be supplied with clamp mounting, often used with tank containers. Due to the low fuel consumption and large fuel tank our Clip-on unit ensures a maximum amount of operating hours. With an Tier4F and Carb Compliant Engine, the Genmark Clip-on genset will also be available for the USA market.

Designed for Truck Applications

The Genmark Truck Unit is developed for trucks and is positioned on either the left or right side of the truck. A truck is normally equipped with 2 tanks, by removing one tank, we are able to fit our Genmark Truck Unit instead of the tank. This unit is connected to the existing fuel tank of the truck and is the lightest genset available. This model is ideal when trailers are regularly changed by the same driver or when the trailer has no available space for a genset. The Truck Unit supplies power continuously even when the truck is turned off.
